55 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - Lights on. Not glamorous, but not exactly fugly for a hand-me-down tank...

freshwater fish - gyrinocheilos aymonieri - gold algae eater stocking in 55 gallons tank - My very typical Chinese Algae Eater--though I've found this one to be extremely harmonious as a tank mate unlike most descriptions suggest. Is at about 8cm.

Advice: Read a lot of forums

Fish Kept: (1)Chinese Hi-fin, (1)Golden Chinese Algae Eater, (5)Balloon Red-eyed Tetras, (2)wild caught minnows Just switched from processed food to bloodworm--much more preferred.

Corals/Plants: No plants but in anticipation of planting--would like grasses and possibly some nice vine-y back plants
