.Hey everyone this is the start of my my 100 litre (25 Gallon) AquaPro Seamless marine tank, I'm pretty new at this so any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Filtration is taken care of by a Weipro SA-2014 venturi driven protein skimmer which is fed by a Mozoo 2300 litre p/h Powerhead, Theres also a single AquaOne cannister filter rated at 1200 litres p/h but cut back to about 500 litres p/h to feed directly into my Teco TR-10 chiller with built in heater and Uv Sterilizer, Plus theres about 25kg Premium Live Rock. I have recently added a small homemade macroalgae refugium mounted in the hood lit by a single 15w 10000k power compact light.(My nitrate levels dropped from about 40/50ppm to undetectable in less than 3 weeks after the refugium was installed. Lighting is accomplished by two Catalina 50/50 55watt power compact tubes in Aqualina housing plus two 2.5watt blue cold cathode moonlights.
.Get some sort of circut interupter installed in the house where your tank is before you mix electricity with water. Oh and maybe a surge protector for your gear too.
.Lots of differnt ones but the current residents of this tank are 1 Firegoby, 1 Psychadelic Mandarinfish, and 1 Oc. Clownfish, theres also a very efficient clean-up crew consisting of 20 Yellow-Footed Hermit Crabs, 1 Coral Banded Shrimp, 5 Rockpool Shrimp and 2 large Turbo snails
