Description: 100 gallon, 5 foot planted aquarium. I use shop bought springwater in my aquariums. The aquarium gets lots of natural sunlight from all sides. If you plant heavily, you will not have an algae problem or a nitrate problem. When you plant, leave the plant to do its thing. Fussing with it impedes growth and root establishment. From 5pm to 9pm, the aquarium lights are on. They are full spectrum that I keep to a low setting.
Advice: Treat your fish and plants with respect and they will thrive. Give fish something to do and a rich environment in which they can express their natural behaviour as much as possible. Re aquascaping, after taking your fish's needs into account, do your own thing in terms of aesthetics. Express yourself in your layout and your aquarium will have a truly unique look, it's a ultimately a matter of taste.
Fish Kept: Angelfish, Harlequin Rasbora, Red Minor Serpae Tetra
Corals/Plants: tiger lotus red, thin val, crypt, anubias, windelov, needle leaf java fern, amazon sword, ludwigia and corkscrew grass
Tank Size: 100 gallons
About Yourself: Very cautious by nature. Interested in politics.
