Description: this tank is 175 gal tall it is 60" across 36" tall and 18" from back to front. The large wood logs where collected on the beach and soaked for about a year to leach the tannins out. The large rocks where collected from a local river bottom. It has 2 rio 1400 powerheads powering the under gravel filter and a via aqua 750 cannister filter, the tank cycles about 6 times per hour.
Advice: If at first you don't suceed, try and try again. This is a hobby where trail and error is part of the learning process. There are also alot of resorces available on the internet so take a little time to do your research, but most importantly Have Fun!
Fish Kept: The tank currently has a few breeding pairs of convicts but Iplan to move my frontosa colony in to it soon
Corals/Plants: The plants are all plastic. The rocks came from along side of the road on my way to work. The driftwood came from a local so cal beach after a big storm. The long pieces in the center tank are three feet long and 6 inchs in diameter.
Tank Size: 180 gallons
Quote: so clearly the iocain powder cannot be in front of me!
