Description: I love the 55 gallon tank!! The versitility of this size is endless. You can start with, and add, almost any size fish that suits your fancy. You can fill it will any decor and make it work with minimal sweat.
Advice: Two things not to skimp on: Filtration and Lighting. Investing in these will tip the scales towards enjoying the tank rather than cleaning it!! (this comes from experience!)
Fish Kept: Cichlids are one of the best all around fish types in my opinion. Currently I have 2 Convicts, 1 Midas, 1 Fire Mouth, 1 Green Terror, 1 Jack Dempsey, 1 Pleco, a Large Black Shark (the King), and a pictus cat
Corals/Plants: a little of everthing!! They add a whole other diminsion.
Tank Size: 55 gallons
Quote: Be proud of your achievements!
