Description: My first tank. Its been going about six months now had some problems in the beginning but I worked them out. This is a 30 gallon fresh water Barb tank. I have a Aqua Clear 70 filter with active carbon filter media, an Aqua Clear 30 air pump with in-line regulation valve powering two air stones, a 20 watt white light and a Eheim heater.
Advice: My advice at this time is novice at best, I would just say read, read, read you can never have enough information before you make a purchase, and think big it's only been six months and I wish I started off much bigger. Oh yeah and don't drive yourself crazy over the water levels in the beginning as long as you condition the water and filter it for 24 to 48 hours before putting fish is you'll be fine and don't over crowd, with my 30 gallon i should have only put four or five to start. Instead I put about eighteen, making the start up of my tank very difficult and causing the unnecessary loss of four fish...

About Yourself: Always wanted to get into it just never had the time, still don't but what the hell right... It's really addictive anyone else have this problem I just want to keep buying tanks now. I'm about to start a small Reef or Planted tank can't decide and suggestions....
