Advice: Let you tank cycle... don't be a victim of new tank syndrome!
Fish Kept: 17x Zebra Danios, 1x Opaline Gourami, 1x Gold Gourami, 2x Blue Gourami, 1x Unknown Gourami, 3x Cardinal tetra's, 2x Algae Eaters,
Corals/Plants: Too many plants to name at the moment. I will fill this in Later. Thanks for being patient.
Tank Size: 80 gallons
About Yourself: I am a 3D animator that has been an aquarist for about a year... I kept many terrariums in the past 2 years. I was into plants first and it led me from houseplants to keeping terrariums to creating aquariums and paludariums. I spend an average of 10 hours a week keeping up this tank. It is a great joy. Thank you for looking at it. It is an honor to have you view it.

This is beautiful! It is kind of what I want to do. Did you just stack the lace rock against the back? I see you are a fellow Coloradian too. Where at? I am in Colo. Springs. fish avatar
i like this look fog is a good touch i would never have thought of that top 10 on my list fish avatar
Almost expect to see a fish jumping above the fog or something walking in the landscape. Novel story going on here. Kudos for the uniqueness & beauty of this setup, the best of two worlds. fish avatar
Just ordered a 48" Orbit 4x65W SunPaq w/Lunar Lights/Fan(Current) to add to the lighting setup. A shipment of new aquatic and terrestrial plants are also arriving tomorrow. New pics to come. fish avatar
There is about 120 pounds of lace rock in it. I use it to create the planting grounds for the upper deck. I am still learning a lot about the aquatic plants. The upper plants are bromeliads, tillandsia (Bulbosa and abdita), 2 types of moss, tropical sheet moss and pillow moss from Maryland, USA. I also have Pilea cadieri (small vine the grows fast) and 2 sweet optato vines that I just started, Devils Ivy and an unknown vine. The aquatic plants that I know the name of currently without digging out my sheets are the water onion, Water Hyacinth, Dracaena's, Wisteria and Java Moss... many more in there, just have to dig up the names. fish avatar
Interesting!!..It will be great to know more about this kind of tank... fish avatar
