125 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - lungfish in my 125g 4 overflows int 30g sump.I have 2 cubic feet of lava rock in a garbage can that is plumbed to my sump at the last stage with my return pump to avoid debri in biofilter.I have used this method with great results in fresh and reef tank applications avoiding the need for sand or gravel in main tank but still getting positive biological filtration with less maintanence.

Wow... impressive collection but sometimes more is just, well.....more. Any room for fish to swim or even enough room for any acro colony to get larger than 6in. in diameter? Sorry, I just don't get the "packed to the gills" look. fish avatar
