More Info

Country: United Kingdom
Description: Juwel Rio 300 litre, planted tank, filters are the built in internal with added Eheim Mech, and Fluval 105 external canister untill I can afford the Eheim Proff 3 with heater element. Lighting is 4 x Juwell T5s - 1 Juwell day bulb, 1 Juwel sun bulb, and 2 Arcadia plant pro bulbs. JBL profi set 2 CO2 injection system at 1 bubble per second, aqua grit and white quartz mixed substrate, with added JBL 7 clay balls for cripts, JBL ferrapol 24 fert daily, 60 litre water change per week is working well at the mo.
Advice: Less is more. Be patient. What works well for others will not always work for you so experiment and have fun. Most important is don't give up, you will have probs but once sorted you will have the tank you wanted. It is worth the effort. There are no short cuts.
Fish Kept: Cherry, Tiger, Ammano, Rudolf, Cambodian, and cross breed shrimp. Otocinclus. Siam flying fox, Dwarf,Pigmy, and Sterbie Corydoras, Dwarf Chain Loach and Red Whip tailed catfish make up the cleaning crew just adding some Rainbows as the main fish at 2 per week now. still to pick a small shoaling fish. Any suggestions would be nice?
Corals/Plants: Will list soon, as i've misplaced the name list and can't remember all the plants.
Tank Size: 300 gallons
Quote: Oh what's occuring......
About Yourself: I've only had planted tanks for the last 6/7 months but have been totally hooked. This tank has been set up for about 6/8 weeks now and is still under construction.
