Photo #1 - Another Shot - 5 (started With) 13 Neons 1 Clown...

More Info

Country: United Kingdom
Description: 65l Aquaone AR510, standard 2 * Aquaone built in lights (11w each) & added a 24W T5 (biggest that fits, Feb 08), Fluval 105 external filter (built in aquaone is hopeless but I run the out pipe of the fluval through the Aquaone route as further filtering area and the spray bar effect), deep soil & gravel base - plants rooting well, CO2 (was a yeast based system, replace by CO2 injection 8/3/08). Jan 09 - have now drilled some more holes in the filter outflow to force water over the hidden CO2 diffuser to increase the tme bubbles take to reach the surface to increase absorption. Have also just replanted small plants in a thinner layer of gravel to get their roots nearer the tetra susbtrate as actually they're struggling now.
Advice: plan before buying anything
Fish Kept: 5 (started with) 13 neons 1 clown loach 1 flying fox 4 (was 6) black neons 10 ish amano shrimp 4 cherry shrimps
Corals/Plants: 2 types of crypt (no idea which - think one in Wendii) java moss (or some variant) dwarf saggitaria some other plants Java fern (which is failing, grew like crazy in my cold tank but is all dying, seems the stock has it's limits).
Tank Size: 14 gallons
Quote: Keep trying
