More Info

Country: Australia
Description: Size = 48x20x14 Filters = 1x fluval u4 & 1x HDOM ap-2000 modded to take 2x bio media bags and run sponge aswell, all rubber valves were taken out to let max flow rate enter the filter the bags also slowed the rate of this pump wich is what i wanted being a planted tank. Without the bags restricting the flow the pump would up root plants. Lights = 2x dual globe t5's 3globes are 28w 10,000k aqua wite, 1 globe is actinic marine glo. Basic Co2 system soon to be installed and tried.
Advice: Start with the right lighting. Use low light plants such as Anubias first then trial small leaf pants. With planted tanks only run air stones and venturi at night.
Corals/Plants: Anubias, wysteria.
Tank Size: 50 gallons
About Yourself: Started off as a present for my partner, then all hell broke loose and i started buying lights and researching everything possible. We have 3 tanks now and our 4ft is our largest, we also have a wavey front tank and a cichlid tank with a mated pair of red jewels breeding like mad. The wave tank has Angels that look like they are ready to pop at any time :-)
