Photo #19 - Two Angelfish (pterophyllum Scalare). Unfortunat...

freshwater fish - pterophyllum altum - altum angel- true wild strain stocking in 55 gallons tank - Two angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare). Unfortunately, the stripey leopard one in the foreground got freaked out one day and jumped out of the tank. He somehow made it through a hole that I never thought an angelfish could aim for, let alone fit through. RIP.

freshwater fish - pterophyllum scalare - angelfish stocking in 55 gallons tank - Dad (silver) and Mom (smokey), giving my camera lens the Evil Eye for zooming in on their fry. Pterophyllum scalare pair, Cerberus and Mocha.

freshwater fish - trichogaster trichopterus - opaline gourami stocking in 55 gallons tank - This opaline gourami has a death wish. (Note: this is my quarantine tank, thus the strange combination of tank-mates. The crawfish is new and the gourami just doesn't have a permanent home yet, since he's so mean to everyone I've tried to put him with.)
corals inverts - procambarus alleni - blue crayfish stocking in 55 gallons tank - BOO! (Or, the last thing several of my fish saw, including a dwarf gourami who died with a comically cartoonish bite out of his belly. Stupid crawfish.) Procambarus alleni (I think).
corals inverts - paleomonetes sp. - ghost shrimp stocking in 55 gallons tank - Truly, the ghost shrimp is king of all he surveys...

freshwater fish - pterophyllum scalare - half black angelfish stocking in 55 gallons tank - Proud daddy angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) and his newborn fry. Not pictured: Mom, who is chasing away tetras and camera lenses.
freshwater fish - pristella maxillaris - gold pristella tetra stocking in 55 gallons tank - Three pristella tetras (Pristella maxillaris) staying moderately still at the same time!

55 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - My 55-gallon that serves as a room-divider (thus why random lights and things are visible behind it), containing angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare), pristella tetras (Pristella maxillaris), and serpae tetras (Hyphessobrycon eques).
freshwater fish - pterophyllum sp. - silver zebra angel stocking in 55 gallons tank - Ambush-in-progress! Two angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare), one of which is obviously gunning for Alpha.
