Description: Planted Tank-36x16x16. With a Marineland Emperor 280 Filter. Right now I have a Fluorite substrate, but when I upgrade my tank I will be swithing to sand. Im currently using an coralife T-5 lighting system. I replaced the Actin bulb for a hagen flora- grow which is giving me a little under 2 watts per gallon that stays on for about 8 hours a day. Eventually this will become an all planted South American Tank.
Advice: Cycle your water before adding fish. Once your tank is established please keep your water changes frequent and consistent. Also find yourself a good LFS (Local Fish Store) and Petco doesnt count. An LFS employee will actually know what they are talking about. Most of the time. Last but not least always do your own research...

About Yourself: I am a currently a part time student and full time worker... Only one more year to go.. Woo Hoo!! I was always interested in having a fish tank but never new were to start until my coworker gave me my first fish in a two gallon tank.
