Description: 46 gallon bowfront, planted south american biotope. Almost 2 WPG of T-5 lighting, OTS filter, CO2 reactor and diffuser, Flourite substrate beneath epoxy-coated aquarium gravel. Mopani driftwood and rainbow rock decor.
Advice: Do your research. No hobby is fun without some basic working knowledge of the craft! Also, remember, that even when you think you know everything, there is ALWAYS something new to learn!
Corals/Plants: Amazon Swords (Echinodorus Bleheri and Echinodorus 'ozelot')
Cabomba (Cabomba caroliniana)
Java Moss (Vesicularia Dubyana)
Hairgrass (Eleocharis aciculari)
and a poor moss ball from my former Betta's tank (Cladophora aegagropila)
About Yourself: I am a pet store manager who has grown up with fish and is still learning more every day. This is my very first fish tank (other than the MANY bettas and guppies along the way), so any and all comments will be appreciated!
