More Info

Country: Australia
Description: 48 x 14 x 18, single 4ft light, 4ft air stone, Eheim Pro II 2126 thermo filter.
Advice: Take your time! Research any fish before putting them in to make sure the set-up suits them and so they all get along :) Also plan what fish you would like to keep in advance to prevent overcrowding and to ensure you like them ALL!
Fish Kept: 4 Synodontis petricola, Pseudotropheus demosoni, Cynotilapia afra Cobwe, Melanochromis maingano, Electric blue, 2 Tropheus sp. "Red" Moliro, Tropheops chilumba, Callochromis pleurospilus, Cynotilapia frontosa Kigoma, 2 Julidochromis transcriptus.
Corals/Plants: 20kg worth of medium-course coral sand, minimal plants, all rocks sourced from my local bush, majority of which are sandstone, also have some river stones and some holey coral rock to hopefully give any fry a place to hide, a bit of a brick and some ceramic piping also added to make it a bit more urban looking haha, latex backing.
Tank Size: 50 gallons

COMMENTS

Nah not really. I've got a pretty good filter and so the water stays pretty clear and the gravel doesnt seem to collect too much shit n stuff. I do vaccuum it when I do a water change though and also intentially stir up the water to move anything which has settled on the rocks so I can clear as much crap out as possible. fish avatar
hey..was just wondering with all those rocks do u find that the tank gets really dirty as there isnt as much gravel in the open to filter out poo etc??? fish avatar
