Description: just getting back into fish tanks after 10 years. I set up a 55gal with live plants and mostly tetras. Real wood, live plants, and about 25 fish in a weekend... goes against my better judgement, but what the heck. Now over a week old, and I only lost 2 neons and a danio, all in the first couple of days. The plants are growing, and the fish are doing great. Life is good.
Advice: take it slow... dont rush it. I spent a year setting up a saltwater tank specificly for an emperor angelfish... it was worth it.
Fish Kept: I have had salt and fresh and even raised live brine shrimp for fish food.
Corals/Plants: live rock in one of my salt tanks... I tried live plants in a freshwater tank, but it didnt take. I still have some learning to do in that subject.
Tank Size: 55 gallons
