More Info

Country: United Kingdom
Description: Juwel vision 260lt, No sump, Fluval 305 + Fluval 205 each end of aquarium, TMC V2 500 skimmer, Re-sun skimmer to back up the v2 500, DD FMR75 Fluidised Reactor, using Nutri-fix up Bio Pellets for Nitrates and Phosphate, two 100w Heaters each end of aquarium, still using T5 lighting unit that came with the tank, planning to do a diy lid and upgrade the lighting, i will be using three TMC mini led 400 tiles that i already have, alongside T5 Marine white, and blue both 54w, but from what i have learnt from 2 yrs of running my tank on T5, the T5 lighting is good enough for FOLR (fish only, live rock) also will grow sps corals, lol "although you can grow sps corals with a candle", T5 will also grow some hard corals depending on the distance from the lighting.
Advice: Take your time, this hobby will cost you a lot of money, always use the plus one method when buying equipment (that means buying equipment to cope with more than you need it to cope with, this will save you money in the long run, when you come to upgrade the size of your aquarium, lol because you will upgrade, you will not need to buy new equipment), do loads of research, when your not looking at your tank or cleaning it and testing your water, you should be learning about it.
