More Info

State: California
Country: United States
Description: Tall 20-gallon Freshwater Planted tank Fluval 3 Plus internal filter Fluval Foam (3 or 4?) filter pads Ceramic biomedia rings 12" airstone Second Whisper air pump w/ 4-way gang valve Aqueon fluorescent light bulb & light cover
Advice: Medicine costs more than the actual fish (for freshwater). Be sure not to cut corners and don't rush yourself with cycling your tank; your pets are very delicate! Research a LOT before you begin your new hobby.
Fish Kept: 1 Betta 1 Yo-Yo Loach 1 Otocinclus Catfish 5 Platies (Mickey mouse, Sunset fire, Red Wag, White) 7 Fancy Guppies
Corals/Plants: 1 Java Fern, 4 Amazon Swords, & assorted plastic plants.
Tank Size: 20 gallons
About Yourself: For my birthday I was given 2 betta fish. I ended up housing each betta separately at first, then upgraded to a beginner's 10gallon soon after. Followed by a 20 gallon long terrarium but was unsafe due to thickness of glass, which led to the tall 20 gallon tank I have now.
