Country: Australia
Description: 4ft L x 1 ft W x 1.5ft H 2ft light above to show plants fullest of colours. Heilea air pump ACO-503 that's pumping oxygen in both sides of the tank, 1ft air curtain hiding behind my "rock cave". Heilea internal filteration pump HL-BT1000 with a handfull of ceramic noodles to create good bacteria and also filteration wool. Heater set to 21-23 deg. i used to have a very green planted tank with helecopter and castle but now i am going for a more natural display, i have researched my fish's natural habitat and found that most of them come from the lake/river area so now i am working with rocks, driftwood and sand. crossing my fingers it works out.
Advice: try not to clean out your aquarium too often because caring to much is one of the biggest fish killers. buy the biggest tank you can afford, once you get into aquariums you will want to buy lots of fish, the bigger the tank the more fish you can buy.
Fish Kept: silver shark, glass catfish, glass bloodfin tetra, rosy barb, white cloud, 3 zebra danio's, pleco, siamese flying fox, golden sucking car fish, sucking cat fish, golden fantail, yellow commet, uncoloured commet.
Corals/Plants: Large anubias, banana lily, assorted
Tank Size: 52 gallons
About Yourself: i have been interested in aquarium fish for many years, getting my first goldfish at 14 and i have wanted to expand my interest and experience in underwater life. i have worked in an aquarium retail outlet and learnt a lot, now i have a 4ft tank and working on making it natural with sands, rocks and driftwood.
