freshwater fish - thorichthys meeki - firemouth cichlid stocking in 65 gallons tank - This is the smallest cichlid of the tank, the firemouth cichlid. This picture does him or her no justice, you cant even see the bright red on the gils, bout 2 1/2 inches, bout 7 months old. A few months younger than the other cichlids.
freshwater fish - aulonocara rubescens - ruby red peacock stocking in 65 gallons tank - Our ruby red peacock cichlid. Nice and orange, bot 4 inches or so, close to a year old.
freshwater fish - heros severus x amphilophus citrinellum - blood parrot stocking in 65 gallons tank - Our Blood Parot Cichlid. I was told he would get reddish orange, and look like a killer goldfish, well he is close to a year old and hasnt changed to orange, just got darker. After doing some research, it seems i have an uncommon hybrid, hybrid. Apparently a blood parrot bred with a male convict cichlid, giving us a black blood parrot with stripes? Anyone know the truth to that or not?
freshwater fish - nandopsis octofasciatum - jack dempsey stocking in 65 gallons tank - Our Jack Dempsey Cichlid. Close to a year old as well, about 5 inches, but is thicker than tha ahli.
