Description: African Cichlids (Mbuna). Eheim 2217 Classic canister filter, and 2 Empereor 400's. I have the lights that were sold with the tank. The tank is used. Not too sure what kind of bulbs they are. I will be switching them out soon. I also have a Koralia wave maker for a little more current. I use pool filter sand, and I have about 150 lbs. in lace rock, with some Texas Holey in there as well. The grass like plants are fake. I will add more to this as time goes on. I hope you like!!!
Advice: My water got soooo much clearer when I bought the Eheim canister. I used to have 3 Emperors, which gave the water plenty of flow. Filter Floss is also great for polishing your water, as I use them in the gray inserts of the Emperors. Really makes a big difference in clarity.
Fish Kept: I will be getting more species very soon, but at the moment, I have 9 Mainganos, and 1 Yellow Lab. I had 8 more Labs when I first stocked the tank, but they died.
Corals/Plants: Lace Rock and Texas Holey. Fake grass.
Tank Size: 125 gallons
