Now that I see the picture It's not Dropsey.I had a blue Gourami that developed a groath on one side, Somewhat similar to this.But it was obviousley external,And he lived quite awhile with it.Getting as big as a small Bluegill! I tried fungicides and other treatments but he eventually died with it,But I don't think from it. I wish I could be more help to you and the critter,Good luck with him. fish avatar
