Description:
Dimensions are 60" x 24" x 16". Lighting is Hamilton 60" HO T5 running 2x 10,000 K and 2x 420 nm actinic. Filtration includes a Fluval 405 @ 340 gph with Bio-Rings, filter floss, and Seachem Purigen; Penguin 350 @ 350 gph; 2x Koralia 4 @ 850 gph each; and Marineland 250 H.O.T. running micron cartridge to polish water. Bubble wand for added circulation behind rock structure. Hydor 300 watt inline heater.
Advice:
Slow and easy. Don't cut corners on filtration, shoot for atleast 10x/hr water turnover and dont waste your time with carbon!!! Use most if not all available space for Bio-Media. Nerite snail are the only way to go for algae control, never use algaecides. Feed your fish New Life Spectrum food. And last, but not least cycle tank with fish food not ammonia!
