Description:
my tank is 48"x12"x24" bow fronted and is 20"at the peak of the bow.i have a fluval 4plus mainley for water flowand an ehiem 2213 external filter that pumps 450 litres an hour for good filtration.there is a 300 watt elite heater to keep the temp stable and the lighting consists of a realy old lighting unit which has no name or serial numbers on it because it is so old but runs 2x24"tubes 1 is a grow lucks night time light and the other is (i am not exactly sure)
Advice:
as i am quite new to this myself it would be take your time listen to what others say make your mind up about what you want make it fun not a chore
Fish Kept:
red tail black shark,2xsilver dollars,2xlomonsiclids,6xneon tetras,1xmolly,1xpleco,1xtalking cat fish,3xclown loach
Corals/Plants:
most of the plant are plastic because my silver dollars ate all the live plant we put in

i run a small welding company (COOK WELDING) and had to make a vast amount of stands for a company to supply with there tanks and decided i wanted some fish as well.I origonaly wanted some piranhas but once the tank was set up the wife put some little fish in and so i didnt get my piranhas.I find my fish to be very relaxing witch is good for me as i work very long days and the maintanance of the tank is something i can do with my two young sons and thats another good reson for fish keeping
