Update:
Ok wall stayed where it was supposed to. So 1 decent line of silicon the length of the wall will hold it down.
Ive started putting the substrate into the plant section, miscalculated how much i would need though, grrrrrrrrrr, i'll need to drop into the lfs and pick up more gravel!
Stay tuned, i'll try to grab pics as i'm 'scaping

I must say i'm rather proud of how it turned out

2.5ft - Tank has settled nicely, fish have become more comfortable.
4ft cichlid - i noticed earlier my electric yellow at the top of the tank, closer inspection, dead :( All other fish active and looking for a feed as usual, but, Alarm bells, E.yellow was perfectly fine this morning!
Out come the test kits
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 160ppm +
What the devil????
Soooooooooo major water change, left just enough water for fish to swim in, and all is back to normal. Tank was a few day over normal water change time, but nothing way out there. Did a sand clean while i was water changing, no significant debris, certainly not enough to cause the distinct hike in nitrates. Fish arent overfed, infact 2 days of the week they arent fed at all. Water supply has been tested, no nitrates present. So will be watching it for a bit to see if i can find the cause....very strange. If it rises again, i'll pull it down on the weekend and see if a fish has possibly got caught & died behind the rockwork, havent noticed any fish missing though...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
