Description:
I have a 3ft x 1ft tank. my tank is tropical with quite a few plants. I use an internal spinge filter. diy co2 (yeast, sugar). I have half gravel have pebbles separated by a slate wall. the planted areas are plants in plant pots with a special lant substate, cant remember what name, its clay based I think. the plants have thrived in there
Advice:
if you want plants you must use co2. I tried for years without co2 and it cost me a fortune to keep buing plants as mine eventually died. co2 makes a massive difference.
