Advice: I started this tank as an DIY project. The tank was a fresh water tank that I converted to sea water. The lighting was done by me, I have converted the original tank hood , repalced the conventional T5 lights by High Power LED Lights . I have used 2 protein skimmers to increase skimming and for better water quality. I do not use any calcium reactors , but induce calcium weekly basis. This is a trial project to see how we could get about a reef aquarium with minimum cost.
