More Info

Country: Sri Lanka
Description: 300 Gallon (1000Liter ) Capacity 6feet long full glass tank, biological filter with 02 protein skimmers, 1hp water chiller, over head LED lighting
Advice: I started this tank as an DIY project. The tank was a fresh water tank that I converted to sea water. The lighting was done by me, I have converted the original tank hood , repalced the conventional T5 lights by High Power LED Lights . I have used 2 protein skimmers to increase skimming and for better water quality. I do not use any calcium reactors , but induce calcium weekly basis. This is a trial project to see how we could get about a reef aquarium with minimum cost.
Fish Kept: Blue Face Angel (Malaysia), Emperor Angel (Sri Lanka), Flame Angels , Fox Face, Blue Damse (Malaysia)l, Hippo Tangs , Purple Tang ( Red Sea), Bi Colour Angels (malaysia), Regal Angel (Maldives), Clown Fish (Sri Lanka)
Corals/Plants: Polyps, Open Brain, Plate Corals , Ball Corals (waving Hand corals) , leather Corals, Most corals are soft Corlas which are easy to keep without a calcium reactor. Tube Worms, Red Shrimp, Hipolis Shrimp, Claude Shrimp.
