I was thinking about 2 on that. But am not sure... I guess one will have to do. Sorry I keep getting confused with all this crap about intakes and out flows.

okay, um so i guess i will just go with the one pump to blow water in it, does it have a spot for a sponge filter on it? how do you hang the tubes into the tank? is there some kind of contraption that makes it to where they dont fall out?

you could have it flat on the floor, just put the intake pipe low to the bottom... then the output straight on the lid or whatever of the top of the chamber...

I was gonna put both on top so the water has to go all the way down the PVC then back up through the sand to the top. Thats creates a kind of double filter.

Oh and I meant something to bend the hoses over into the tank so they dont pop out. I'm sure I can get something like a washer has on the back of it for the out flow.
