Description: This is my first attempt at a salt water aquarium. My tank is only about 2 months old. I have about 25 pounds of live rock with various zoo polyps growing. The tank is a self contained oceanic unit which the fish store owner convinced me to buy and was very easy to setup
Advice: Take your time and do your research. Those who say salt water is really hard are usually people who have never done salt water properly themselves. Also as hard as it seems to hold off while your tank cycles it is well worth the wait.
Fish Kept: Long horned cowfish, Sailfin Tang, Yellowtail Damsel, Clownfish and Arrow Crab
Corals/Plants: Various polyps, and some Mushrooms. I'm still learning on which is which but I bought pieces that had various colonies.
Tank Size: 28 gallons
About Yourself: I'm a internet business development and marketing consultant who takes pride in having a peaceful saltwater aquarium to look at all day long while on the phone.
