Wow! Looking nice with that clover carpet. It looks much better as it fills in, and the wood looks really nice too. Reminds me of www.nobobo.com.
I forget the name of that japanese artist who grows those beautiful planted tanks with the rocks that look like tall thin black mountains, but I want some of that rock. Do you remember who this guy is? Someone posted a link on him a while back and I don't know how to find it.
How to improve this tank?

Yep. Takashi is the one. Those rocks are awsome. I just hooked up my diy co2 again yeasterday. I have 2 lights on this tank and one is pulled to the side so there's a 6 inch square area that is open from the top. I have a 6 inch cooling fan that is placed in this spot so that the fan blows down on top of the water. It both cools the tank and also creates water movement and helps oxygenate the tank.
I know that with co2 it's best not to disturb the water surface much so co2 doesn't blow off, but I have the co2 cranked up to still have enough dispite the fan and powerhead.

I'm all excited about my 30 gallon now. I have plenty of light, I've dealt with the too hot problem, as most of my plants didn't seem to like the temp in the 90s, I have the co2 running again, and I have some new high light plants I want to see grow in.
bannana plant, mondo grass, dwarf hair grass, and micrsword are the plants that weren't doing very well, and I guess the java moss and anubias weren't doing well either which surprised me because I have 5-6 watts per gallon.

*whisper* Mondo Grass isn't aquatic ;)
Anubias don't like high light because they're slow growers and they'll get algae on their leaves. Java Moss I don't understand :P

Yea, I know about the mondo grass. We'll just have to see what it does.
I have flying foxes and ottos so the anubias isn't collecting algae. I think I was just cooking them before.
