I believe clover is a terrestrial plant too and you're growing that pretty darned well!

Hm I may take out the clover because last night I saw something that looked like Planaria...plus it's getting a little dirty in the gravel beneath the clover :-/

Here's a tank shot from the 5th: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y300/r ... MG8478.jpg

Yeah PK. your low-liters might've been irritated by that much light, actually. The only time I have problems with java moss in my 16gal (which is incidentally still <1wpg) is when it gets too thick, the light won't penetrate the top-growth at all, so the underneath just rots and makes a huge mess.

I've had to clean the stuff out twice. Went down to practically bare wood last week with a few clippings of moss left. lol There was so much CRAP underneath I had to rinse the wood in the tub...

I'm excited to give my profile an overhaul soon. My 30 gallon is almost where I want it to be. I had to remove one of the cooler plants. Despite my amano shrimps best efforts it was too little too late. The algae choked it to death. I didn't know what the hell it was called anyway. Oh and the rams are still doing great! They have even more color now.

How's the mondo grass doing? It's been a couple weeks since you got it hasn't it?

Zoot: Why don't you keep some clover in the front-left corner maybe and create some thick growth of some grassy/mossy light green stuff on the right side which looks like it receives more light? The clover is a nice touch but I think it would look better in a smaller clump, like maybe 6"x4" give or take or so. Tank looks nice. You get that front cover stuff much thicker and you might even forget about the flourite. ;)

The mondo grass seems to be putting up a bunch of new shoots. I had the co2 off for a few days so it's just getting going good again. I also planted some dwarf baby tears so I'm excited to see it all grow in.

If the mondo grass doesn't grow I'll take it back and tell them they suckered me with a non-aquatic plant.

What rating do you think it would receive if I put it up to rate? 4? 5? 6?

Despite the thread title at this point I'm pretty sure there's little room for improvment. =D looks great Zoo. I think you shoulda left a little clover in there though, unless I'm just not seeing it. =P
What do you use for CO2 again? Diffuser/solution? The stuff that came with the nutrafin thing like takes forever to activate. I have lazy yeast or just not quite enough...Took over 24 hours to see the first bubble...I understand it lasts longer this way but damn.

really depends on the look that you want to go for you could always change the gravel to sand which i also find easier to clean. Maybe putting some ornaments as features and plus it creates hiding places for the fish.
