About Yourself: Lets see I'm a Leo born in the year of the bunny. I like most people until they prove me wrong. I am currently on the verge of becoming a renaissance man. I invest in both stocks and real estate, I go to school for Hotel Management, And I work alot as a bartender. I work hard and play harder, on top of all that I still look good. I enjoy going to clubs/dancing, skiing, working out, reading, and making music. I'm a big time music junkie, I use to dance professionally and still do sometimes, for me it's a spiritual high. My traits include but are not limited to: charming, suave, thoughtful, graceful, creative, intuitive, intelligent, cultured, open minded, magnanimous, generous, spontaneous, outgoing, honest, caring, strong mined, out spoken, arrogant, conceited, cocky, disdain, vulgar, egotistical, obstinent, and spendthrift.

Advice: Don't go to the pet shop and try to pinch a penny, or you'll end up with something cheap. Fish tank's are not also a science but also a great deal of fun. especially decorating them. and also it's ok to think out side the box when doing so. just make sure your fish all get along, and spoil them with food regularly. they say betta fish are best kept alone, and that's not entirely true. in my experience, most bettas do fine with most fish if they have space for themselves. just get have at least a 5 gallon tank.

Fish Kept: I have a total of 22 fish. 9 baby kirbenses, 4 angle fish, 2 cherry shrimp, 2 sun catfish, 4 mollies (1 of them is a boy), and 1 boy Betta fish. I didn't name my kirbenses as they all look alike, but my angle fish are Micheal, Gabreal, Rapheal, and Ureal. My smaller cat fish is Sven, and my big catfish is Ceasar. My mollie are Horus, Aphrodite, Isis, and Mystery. My betta's name is Posidon. My two cherry shrimp's names are Cheif, and Picasso.

Plants Kept: I don't know what their called to be honest.

Tank Size: 10

Description: my 10 gallon tank is planted with both real and faux plants, with two pieces of mica that I light up from underneath the tank at night. I also have a large piece of natural glass on top of one of the bubble stones. my light is a standard light but sometimes I use gel sheets (clear, colored, plastic sheets used in live theater lighting) to create a really cool night affect. My filter is a tetra fish brand filter, and so is my heater and air pump.

Quote: The main thing about the main thing is to keep it the main thing.

About Yourself: Started a 10 gallon tank for my nieces one weekend. Started reading up and got interested. It relaxes me for some reason (My day job is as a finance executive). I see aquatic plants as an extension of gardening. I also maintain a 65 gallon marine tank that a professional set up for me. My goal try to keep plants and fish looking good, happy and growing together.

Advice: Always bring a fish book to the store even if you're not shopping for fish. You will avoid unwise purchases.

Fish Kept: 2 Corydoras,2 Black Neon, 2 Otocinclus 3 Crossocheilus siamensis, trying to establish a group of Neons but 6 out of 10 didn't make it : (

Plants Kept: Hygrophila, Amazon sword, Annubias 'Nana', Cryptocoryne 'Wendtii', Red Tiger lotus, duckweed for nutrient export.

Tank Size: 29

Description: 30x12x18 acrylic tank; 135 watt power compact in canopy on a 10 hour photoperiod; was set up for overflow but fish kept ending up in sump--now using Fluval 205 canister filter and smart heater set to 77. No regular fertilization or CO2 program. Started 70% water changes weekly this month. This tank's about 9 months old. I use RO adding Equilibrium to get to 6 dH GH. Laterly I've experienced a drop in pH from 7 to 6.4 so I'm researching dosing for alkalinity or adding tap water back. May need to add a snail eater.

About Yourself: I first got into planted aquariums about seven years ago after my plant ravaging silver dollars died. I gave up the hobby for a few years after a move, and am just getting back into it. I'm fascinated by the Amazon and this tank started out as an Amazon biotope, but i've kind of moved away from that. Unfortunately i live in an area with very hard water and mostly like soft water species so i filter through peat granules and use 1/2 RO water in all water changes.

Advice: Make frequent water changes and avoid unnecessary chemicals. Don't over crowd the fish and keep schooling fish in schools.

Fish Kept: 10 neon tetras, 7 julii corys, 10 amano shrimp, 1 african dwarf frogs, 2 honey gourami

Plants Kept: vallisneria, java fern, java moss, cryptocoryne wendtii, lobelia, red rubin sword. oak leaves

Tank Size: 30

Description: 30 gallon freshwater planted tank, Fluval 205 canister filter plus a hanging Whisper power filter that i use to filter the water through peat granuals. Substrate is Eco Complete. DIY Co2 (nutrafin).
