History that you are forbidden to question isn't history, it's propaganda.
About Yourself:
Have kept fish for about 10 years. started with a 17 gallon, graduated to 7 aquariums, consolidated to one 100 gallon, back up to 3 with plans for a fourth. Nature is beautiful. In Nature is truth.
Fish Kept:
Angelfish, ornate tetra
Corals/Plants:
Plants: elodea, cabomba, various anubias, various crypt, some temple plants and Indian Lace Fern.
Tank Size:
100 gallons
Advice:
Fish keeping exercises both parts of your brain, your logical problem solving and creative side. You and your fish will probably enjoy the experience more if you approach it as a fish keeper, rather than a technician. Learn as much as you can. Fish keeping is both harder and easier than you think.

About Yourself:
Always loved fish bred over hundred different species, when discus were hard to breed I did my own thing and had four pairs breed successfully within five weeks
Corals/Plants:
Hair grass, ambullia, java fern
Tank Size:
150 gallons
Advice:
Listen to only those that you see has results, ie: if you want to become a millionaire who better to ask then a millionaire, I don't believe in chemical use, any probs generally partial water change and raising the temp 2degress cured most problems ,this tank was dream free , it was a totally balanced setup where the only thing I ever needed to do was top up the tank water level and change the filter once a year , ran this way for six years up to the day I changed it out for marine.
