Nitrates are around 10. Somewhere between 10-20 but not above 20.

On a side not, I was kinda curious if myabe my tap water had something to do with it. So I tested it for nitrites, it came up with ~.50 ppm. Is that common?

Ok so I did a water test again after a couple days, results:

Ph: 8-8.2
Amonia : 0
Nitrates : 10
Nitrites : 5+

I'm starting to get confused, I don't know whats going on. All the fish seem to be fine. Their colors have even brightened up since I added them to my tank. Everything seems to be happy-go-lucky. I guess if I added my 3-5 yellow labs that they would be under high stress from the high nitrites?

I wouldn't add the fish until ure nitrites lower.. and this may take many water changes.

splif in your picture you had your food sitting on top of your lights, not to get off subject but from everything that i have read, keeping the food on top of the lights is bad because of the heat that is produced, basically takes all of the nutrients out of the food.
And as far as your cycle goes, mine went into like turbo light speed when i started adding plants and wood...ammo went from extreamly toxic to nil overnight
