The sand is play sand and is inert. I do not add fertz to this tank. The tank does however recieve some morning sun, which the plants seem to really like

Angels are now in their new tank...still settling in.
I've now added 6 rummynose tetras to the 4ft
I've pulled down the SunSun 2.5ft, still removing gravel etc. The neon tetras that were in here have all been euthanized. Will be pulling the filter down to fully clean it and replace filter media. The foam wall will also be removed so it can also be soaked in some vinegar to kill of any nasties.
Once its fully clean i'll look into how i want to set it up again

With the new 2.5ft setup.
I'm looking at some blue eyes or cherry barbs, with cories.
If my LFS can get Galaxy Rasboras, i will go with a good school of them.
I still havent got the canister organised, might have a look soon, been busy doing some work around the house, but will get to it before the week is out *L*
