About Yourself: I had a freshwater tank as a kid that was all cichlids, and my girlfriend got me back into it with this 29 gallon tank as her Christmas gift to me a few years back.
Fish Kept: congos, some left over red eyes, and a clown pleco
Corals/Plants Kept: java fern

Advice: read everything you can, try something at least once and if it doesn\'t work try something else, eventually it will all work out. Plan as much as you can!

Fish Kept: I have recently changed my setup from tropical fish to a variety malawi cichlids.
Corals/Plants Kept: Trying out various plants to see which are best with cichlids.

Advice: Be creative and give the fish an interesting environment to live in.

Fish Kept: Multiple species of US Native stream fish: Darters, Shiners, Madtoms, and others. I have roughly 75 fish in the tank
Corals/Plants Kept: Every rock in the tank was specially picked and unique in it's own way. From iron banded sandstone to Quartz Geodes, there is a great array of rocks in this tank. I hand selected all these rocks based on their unique qualities.

Advice: Take it slow, don\'t rush, let it cycle, you will have alot of money if you take it slow.

About Yourself: i had a few fish tanks when growing up, but i was a teenager then and did what teenagers do. i\'m 41 now settled down with family and the little boy loves them.
Fish Kept: 2 silver barbs 5 inches, 2 silver dollars around same size 1red tail shark 5 inches , 1 plec (percy) 8 inches, neon tetra, zebra tetras, red eye tetra, 1 silve shark 6 inches, 1 large angel fish, 3 loaches and about 6 others. all get on well.
Corals/Plants Kept: plastic plants and i also have scottish cobbles from the garden centre, a snip at 6 quid a bag compared to local acquatics store. Ps if anyone could give me a plan on how to have real plants that grow without fish eating them etc pls let me know. Ive read a bit but not been successful

Advice: i am fairly new to hobby(about 2 years). water changes every week 20 - 25% important. get as much advice as you can (but dont believe everything), buuild on experience. Also fish: do research but not all fish which are aggressive are. they are like humans some are some are not, if you know what i mean.
