Its quite literally for a puffer the very last resort.. Puffing that is. Think of a bee using a stinger, except only with the ability of a 50/50 gamble of suvival after leaving that big sore bump on your rear. Its not good to see puffers puff if you value their company. Youtube one puffing if curiosity has taken hold.

It's a typical brown/football/pond snail. The only way I got rid of them was stripping down my tank, and filtering through the rocks, and gel-like substance and throwing them away.
