Yellow Stripe Clingfish
I can't believe I haven't heard of these fish before, they seem really cool and might even be easy to care for? I sometimes feel like all the cool saltwater fish are too difficult to meet the needs of - usually because they're too big or too delicate - but these are really small when full grown. I read you can keep them in a 10g minimum. Anyone have anymore information on them?

Is it Diademichthys lineatus you're referring to?

Oh I've seen these for sale before! Cool little fish. I think they're in the goby family which I actually wouldn't have guessed just by looking at them.

What do you think their care level is - easy?

Well I first saw them on Live Aquaria where I think they're listed as "easy". I would say maybe a moderate care level, however. The difficult part is just with feeding. I don't know if all are picky but I've definitely heard of picky ones before that wouldn't eat anything that people tried them with.
I don't have any experience with them btw - this is just stuff I've read before about them. And as I said, maybe not all of them are really difficult to get to eat but it's good to at least know that feeding may be an issue before buying one!

Oh that's a little disappointing, I was hoping they'd be easy to keep. It's good to know that ahead of time though, if I do decide to get one. I'll research what kinds of foods are best to try them on from the onset.
Do you know if you can keep 2 or more in the same tank? I'm just wondering if they're territorial towards each other.

Yes it is
I'm sorry, I don't know whether they're territorial or not. Most gobies are, aren't they? But I think their territorialness (is that a word lol) tends to be towards guarding whatever they claim as their little 'home'. So for a clingfish this might be a particular coral or corner of the tank etc that they choose to 'cling' to and they would chase others away from their spot.

They actually remind me of seahorses, and seahorses aren't the easiest to feed either so I can't say I'm surprised to hear about their difficult feeding habits.
