I finally got a black background and a couple new plants. Also picked up a Koi Angel. Not really a planted tank more of a fish tank with plants.

I much prefer the new design. And i think the background was a good idea. And just for the record, when i post pics of MY tank, all i'm really doing is fishing for compliments, so if you want, i'm ok with a simple, "looks great"...even if you don't mean it. Yasher/Stingrays--please note my fragile ego :D

The background does sooo much for the fish the substrate the plants the whole tank. I'd never do w/o one. Looks like you shoulda cleaned the back of the tank first before you put it on. But other then that compliment givin. Keep up the progress!

Before the tank looked like a fish tank with plants.
Now it looks like a planted tank.
You did a good job and I like it very much.
The plants look healthy, as do the fish.
The design is dimentional, the hardware is discreet.
Now, when I look at it, it looks like a little piece of pond I could be diving thru.
Seriously, nice work.
