Lighiting is T-5 HO 54w x 4 10000k Cascade 1000 canister filter and Penguin 600 HOB DIY UGJ system powered by 2x maxijet 600's with sponge pre-filters DIY overflow and 40gallon wet/dry and 10 gallon R/O top off tank. i need to update this picture it is kinda old the rock is no longer in the tank b/c it was lime stone and was causing my ph to be to high and i have added alot more plants. |

I am a currently a part time student and full time worker... Only one more year to go.. Woo Hoo!! I was always interested in having a fish tank but never new were to start until my coworker gave me my first fish in a two gallon tank. I then quickly upgraded to a 15 gallon and now I currently have a 40 gallon tank and am looking to upgrade to a 100 gallon tank in the near future. |

Cycle your water before adding fish. Once your tank is established please keep your water changes frequent and consistent. Also find yourself a good LFS (Local Fish Store) and Petco doesnt count. An LFS employee will actually know what they are talking about. Most of the time. Last but not least always do your own research... |

Planted Tank-36x16x16. With a Marineland Emperor 280 Filter. Right now I have a Fluorite substrate, but when I upgrade my tank I will be swithing to sand. Im currently using an coralife T-5 lighting system. I replaced the Actin bulb for a hagen flora- grow which is giving me a little under 2 watts per gallon that stays on for about 8 hours a day. Eventually this will become an all planted South American Tank.

40 gallon tank 5 watts per gallon CO2 injected. Fish are Rummynose tetras, Long fin Danios, Harliquins, Botiea striatas, Oto's 1 bristlenose and SAE's
126 gallon 5 watts per gallon Co2 inchested. Fis are Boseman Rainbows, Goyder river rainbows, Long fin zebra danios, YoYo loaches and tow Bristlenos Plecos. 1 quarantine tank that I keep cycled all the time with MTS. |

I make my own ferts using CSM+B KNO3 and Potasium sulfate. Substrate is Eco Complete.
I do water changes every 7 days. I add plantex every thir day and KNO3 as needed at water changes I ad Potasium sulfate so that my NPK ratio is 15-1-20. |
