bog aquarium, emersed and submersed zones, wild type guppies, seven years without a water change, no water movement (pumps), no heater, relies of humidic distribution of nutrients to emersed zone and capillary action of the wood back wall. the root system in the substrate (flourite gravel and laterite mix) is so dense it oxygenates the substrate and prevents rot in this uncirculated aquarium in a very unique 24 inch sphere. watch "globe ecosystem" on youtube for details |
