About Yourself: Been keeping fish tanks for 15 years or so, this is my first attempt at a planted tank. Have had 10-125 gal tanks saltwater, reef, and fish only. This hobby never gets boring.
Advice: Do it the right way, not the quick way.
Fish Kept: 4 fancy guppies, 10 neon tetras, 10 black neon tetras, 10 bloodfin tetras, 3 threadfin rainbows, 10000000 snails
Plants Kept: ludwigia, hornwort, crystal val, giant hygro, gymnocromis, altgranathcra, parvulus, difformis, ozelot, anubias afzelli, cryptocoryn lucens, java fern. Some spelling probably off
Tank Size: 55
Description: 55 gal tank with 4 x 65 watt pc lighting. Magnum 350 canister filter. DIY CO2 with DIY reactor. Tank is one month old now. Suprised at how well the DIY co2 injector and reactor work.

Bought more cherry shrimp. In theory, there should be about 13 of them in there, but I usually see about 6-7 (max). Hoping that they will be able to breed one day. Had to remove a lot of the 'Head and Tail Light' Tetra as they attack the shrimps at times. Surprising behaviour from such a small fish.

Java Moss (Taxiphyllum barbieri) is doing extremely well, as is the mini pelia (Riccardia chamedryfolia) since my Siamese Algae Eater (SAE) vanished from the tank...

Advice: Change half of the tank's water every week. Keep your plants nicely pruned and well fertilized. Consistently work on your tank so you'll enjoy it more and keep algae at bay ;-) CHECKOUT MY WEBSITE- updated ;-)
