I changed my tank around and put more plants in. I focused more on putting the taller plants in the back and the shorter in the front. I also got rid of those damn prolific kribs. It looks a thousand times better than it did before, especially with the red plants i put in to contrast the green. |

| About Yourself: |
I am a 3D animator that has been an aquarist for about a year... I kept many terrariums in the past 2 years. I was into plants first and it led me from houseplants to keeping terrariums to creating aquariums and paludariums. I spend an average of 10 hours a week keeping up this tank. It is a great joy. Thank you for looking at it. It is an honor to have you view it. |

Let you tank cycle... don't be a victim of new tank syndrome! |

| About Yourself: |
Love anything to do with fish..!
From fishkeeping to fish catching..!
I love fishing and I have caught many species of fish form the UK and France over the years from minnows to mirror carp over 30lbs.
This tank started of as a coldwater tank with coarse fish, then became tropical marine, and then coldwater ornamental. and was always located at the end of my bed. (I was 16 yrs old)
After leaving home and getting my own house the tank became a coldwater ornamental tanks again.
I have changed the tanks style many times over the years and 23 yrs later it is now a tropical tank. |

5 December 07:
Had to remove my Bosemani Rainbow fish as most of them were suffering from dropsy and getting skinny.
Replaced them with 22 "Head and Tail Light" Tetras (Hemigrammus ocellifer). Always wanted to buy some Cardinal tetra but I felt that the choice was such a cliché. Also think their colours are a little too overwhelming for the scape.
The new guys are doing OK. The more dominant fishes tend to establish their own territories. Introduced some Cherry Shrimp yesterday but was disappointed to find the tetras attacking them (though not all the time).... Don't think they'd make it in the long run... |
