Sudden death?
I got some neon tetras earlier this week but they died after only having them a couple of days. What would have caused this?

First question: was the tank cycled?
And did you acclimate the neons correctly?

Yes, the tank was cycled. It finished cycling recently.
I acclimated them the same as I do with any new fish I get, so I don't think it was that unless I'm not doing it correctly and the neons are just more sensitive to these things? I don't know.

Neons are awfully finicky in my experience. Might've just gotten some bad stock. I'd go to another supplier for the next neons to be sure it doesn't happen again.
