Exactly. It depends on the fish you have. As for tetras I would feed maybe twice a day or I guess if you have the time three times a day. Some fish are constantly nibbling and some fish eat when they can catch a meal. I would just limit the amount of food I feed fish every day. Most will gluttonize themselves and it's not necessary to feed as much as they will stuff into their stomachs.
