would you build the platform then pin it to the bottom? - -say if i have 3 inches of sand, make the pins 5 inches long, could even put some lexan squares on the bottom of each pin for feet - - -that would make the rock 2 inches above th sand - - - - i could run a power head under it - --man talk about curent and no dead spots - - man im liking this more more by the minute - - - im thinking 2 maybe three smaller suspended structures in that 65 - -maybe a large on on one side and two smaller ones on the other

no power head under it. it will maximize what u have. also i think the feet are a good idea. also 2 inches of pin in the rock

right right - -i meant plus the pin into the rock but good point of saying it - - im wondering how translucent the pins will be? im sure from across the room people will go nuts trying to figure it out but up close might be able to see them

what about the sand under the structure? would you keep it pretty shallow? or the same depth as the rest of the tank - - my concern would be anything that got under there pretty much would be there forever - -i guess a small hose on a power head could be used to blow out from under there though eh? - - i hate it when i answer my own questions....lol
