I have a few live plants in my tank ( cycling 3 days into stage 1 ) can i add anything to aid the plants that wont harm the cycling ?
The palnts i have are :
Hairgrass
Telanther
Wentii

As in your other thread, if you can place the laterite under the gravel, then this will help the growth of the plants. Plus you should have the right source of lighting for the plants.
Hairgrass - Provide the plant with moderate lighting of 2 watts per gallon or more, in the color temperature of 5000 to 7000 Kelvin.
Telanthera - moderate to high lighting (2 - 4 watts/gal)
Wentii - low to moderate (2 - 4 watts/gal)
So a light like the 6700K Coralife HO T5 Lamp or better yet the AquaticLife T5 HO Natural White 6,000°K Fluorescent Lamp will work wonders for your plants.
Just a couple suggestions.
Key is, lighting and a nice layer under the gravel of laterite will provide plenty nutrients for your live plants.
