how many fish is to many
i have a 4ft fish tank can someone tell me how many gallons of water this would be?

I think that the 48" comes in different sizes, so we can't answer the question. We need the other measurements to help you.

Measure how deep and tall the tank is, not just how wide. Once you have all three dimensions, you can calculate your volume by using this website: http://www.fishfriend.com/tank_volume_calculator.html

Now what you need to do is pick out what fish you want and let us know their adult size. So if you pick out 4" Cichlids I would say 5- 7 of them.

i already have my fish in there :) i have 2 plecos, 3yoyo loaches, two large snakeheads :) and 2 black ghost knifefish, i was just woundering if i shouldnt get any more???

Hahahahahha do you realize how big the fish you have get? Because this tank is not big enough for what you have.
