Mixing a South American Chiclid with a new tank

by theFISHsaysMOO

I am wanting to toss my young 3" Jewel chiclid (which is currently in his own tank) into an established tank that houses 3 Clown Loaches (1 -4" 2-6") 1 14" Ghost Knife Fish and a 3" golden nugget pleco.

Now i have had these fish for atleast 2 years (except the pleco who is young also) and would be devestated if the aggressive Jewel Chiclid upset the balance in this tank. Especially my Ghost fish cuz that thing is awsome and im worried he cant defend himself against an agressive fish.

If anyone has any experience with these fish and has any input would be appreciated.

first the jewel cichlid is a african cichlid so you will need some spots for teratories , the clown loaches will be fine and so will the ghost knife just be sure to have enough space-my 1" jewel:)
