Looks like my upright freezer died today. I'm eyeing it off to make it into an outdoor pond.
If possible i'll gut it (shelves etc), then seal any holes. Door will be removed. Outside will need repainting to pretty it up, and it should then be right to go.
Hoping to get some water lillies and plants then my fantail goldies will move in.
Now of course this all depends on it not working once its fully defrosted and plugged back in *L* I'm sorta hoping it wont work again *LOL*
Possible new project

I like the concept. How many gallons is it? Are you gonna bury it in the ground or keep it as an above ground pond?

At this stage the inside will stay white, though i am debating coating it in a coloured pond sealer.

So my other half has convinced me to leave the gutting until the weekend, and he'll give me a hand to do it.
We'll then look at getting some pond sealer or fibreglass to do the inside with (make it more UV stable)
