yeah i tested the stats for ammonia, and nitrite are normal they have started to come out more today

if you are still considering cichlids just a warning. They can be very destructive to their environment so live plants need to be hardy, and they are also somewhat aggressive so putting them in with other fish may not be a good idea either.
